So lovely to welcome some new faces here from

10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:
In my latest newsletter, I wrote about getting rid of things as an extremely nostalgic person!
the allure of less
·When I was in elementary school, my mom put a note in my brown bag lunch every single day. I saved each scrap of paper and I still have them now, as a twenty-eight year old, in a folder in my childhood bedroom. As you might guess, I’m a nostalgic person. This does not beget minimalism. I get attached to things and the fee…
I cannot believe that the Wimbledon strawberries and cream are £2.5?!?! That feels extremely…reasonable and is giving Costco-hot-dog-inflation-proof-vibes. (I researched and apparently they’ve been the same price since 2010?!!)
I bought Coco Mellors’s latest book Blue Sisters at the airport on Friday and stayed up last night to finish it. Oh it made me cry!!!! I loved it so much. I’m also impressed at how she is using the book to shine light on both endometriosis and alcoholism.
Gustavo and I moved into our new flat in Edinburgh (after two months of renovating!) and even though we are sleeping with our bed in the living room until our floors get done and it’s in a general state of dissarray, I love it so much.
Natural beauty brand ROWSE launched a skin and lip tint that I got to try two weeks ago week and I’m fully obsessed.
The incredibly talented Banjo Beale and photographer Alex Baxter announced their newest design book about Scottish interiors called A Place in Scotland that you can pre-order now.
In hyper local Edinburgh news, some very exciting Stockbridge openings soon. The new M&S on Raeburn Place opens on July 18, the Mootz General Store (which serves Italian sandwiches and coffee) on Raeburn Place opened (and been sold out every time we attempt to try it!), another location of cult-following pizza shop Civerinos is coming soon, and a trendy-looking Italian spot is going into the former Ping On space.
If you want to join the best home swapping app out there, here is my Kindred referral code. In every apartment you stay in, they leave you a guest kit and ours in London was filled with Aesop toiletries. So lush!!
I spoke to Read Receipts about my favorite books and bookstores:
And now I’m going to put my phone down before I get entirely too carsick. I’m rooting for Carlitos, who are you rooting for?!?!
With love,
Sarah

I meant to say how much I loved that top photo, of your new apartment, at the top of the last newsletter. Absolutely stunning! So glad that you’re finally living there. You’ll slowly get organised. And you’re at Wimbledon!! Yay!!! Enjoy!
