10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:

1. It was such a joy to visit Madrid last weekend. I went for one of G’s best friends’ wedding and I feel like I finally have a bit of a community there and got to see friends and go to my favorite Madrid spots!!! Do you want a Madrid guide?!

2. Edinburgh friends, finally the Wives Like Us by Plum Sykes book club is happening. IRL in Edinburgh on Oct 16th is the rough date—reply to me if you want to come!

3. The ROWSE lip and cheek tint is just the best.

   

4. Picked up Sally Rooney’s Intermezzo which came out today!!! I snagged it at Rare Birds, my fav local bookstore that solely carries books by female authors.

5. I rounded up my favorite antique and vintage furniture spots in Edinburgh.

6. This week I’m going to try my hand at putting up wall panels / moulding in our apartment… more updates to come.

7. Also on the apartment update, I found a wardrobe on Facebook marketplace finally!!!! We have had a horrible clothing rack for months and it is SO satisfying to have a door to close on our mess lol.

8. I’m consulting for NuMarket, an amazing company that helps food and bev businesses launch community crowdfunds. (Instead of giving up equity, the biz owners sell store credits and contributors get 120% in credit of what they contribute!) If there are any local restaurants or food biz you love (US-based for now) and know well and might want to raise money, MESSAGE MEEEE!!!
