Hi friends,
LOTS of wins this week and lots of very inspiring people doing amazing things. Everything is linked. Thanks for reading and sharing!!
10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:
I wrote this essay about the monsters we make and how we can face them. You can read it here! Seven of you shared the essay and it means the world to me.
I’m hosting a dinner on May 24th in Edinburgh with & The Table. The format is 6 women, who don’t know each other, meeting at dinners around the world. Please share the link with anyone you know in Edinburgh and London!!
Lindsay MacMillan is now accepting applications for the second cohort of her master class, The Art and Business of Writing and Publishing a Book. Email her for more info at lindsay.mac511@gmail.com.
LALA’s new song, Woman, is out now. Listen here! I also loved this interview where she talks about the impact of the music industry on mental health.
I went to London for the book launch of the latest by Rebecca Anderton Davies, an amazing woman who I was so lucky to meet when I worked at GS! Her new book, Shifting the Dials, is a very helpful read if you are someone who is overwhelmed about the future (read: me).
Really enjoyed this podcast with Cheryl Strayed, Glennon Doyle, and Abby Wambach. I listened to it twice.
Super excited to join Gleneagles Townhouse!! Yolanda Edwards did an amazing write-up about this members’ club.
This week I read After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid which made me cry so much.
G and I went to a gorgeous movie theater and saw Air which I wholeheartedly enjoyed.
Started to really enjoy reformer pilates. Put our ballots in for the London marathon (fingers crossed!!) and I’m finding pilates to be a great cross-training for running.
With love,
Sarah
Tilly, I think there are dinners in Amsterdam!! The founder, Sam, is Amsterdam based so I think there’s actually a lot of dinners!! Many more than Edinburgh I must say haha. Def browse the list of tables and I hope you can go
