went on a roadtrip to the scottish antique & arts centre in perthshire this week and it did NOT disappoint

10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:

1. SO excited because I booked an appointment to look at vintage wedding dresses (!!!) at Happy Isles in NYC— my adult dress-up dream!

2. Fellow Substackers in Scotland, we’re hosting a wee get together in Edinburgh this month. Email me for the deets!

3. I wrote an essay for Kate’s zine Cin Cin! There are only 15 left!!!

4. Heading home to Michigan for Thanksgiving and I’m so excited to hug my family!!!

5. Liz Gilbert is coming to the the UK… and I think I need to get the meet and greet tickets.

6. Edinburgh friends — So excited for the Scotland Festival of Fashion at the Fife Arms. Simone Rocha. The tableware designer for Hermès. Must I say more!!! Lemme know if you want to carpool!

7. Another one for the Edi friends — Jess from Elliot’s is hosting a perfect Xmas market and I have so much FOMO. Link for deets here!

8. NYC friends - if you’re looking for plans on December 1, a friend of a friend, Caroline Gray, is showcasing her art at Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook on 12/1 from 6-9pm . Deets here!

   Caroline grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from the New York Academy of Art with her MFA in painting in 2019. Since then, she's been featured in British Vogue, and represented by Chairish, Well and Wonder, Design Supply, Leif, and more! 

9. I loved the book, All the Light We Cannot See, aND I just started the Netflix mini series with G!

10. Still riding a happy high of referring to G as my FIANCE!
