10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:
It has been almost one year since we moved to Scotland (absolutely unbelievable I know!!!) As with all anniversaries, I’ve loved the moment to reflect. I can’t believe that I’ve come to love Edinburgh so much. Even the weather—I now view the spritzy grey days that I used to despise as just the coziest thing on earth.
G and I went to Michelin-starred The Kitchin in Edinburgh for LUNCH yesterday, thus saving some 240 quid—which makes me feel like a frugal queen. Also I am obsessed with the concept of loud budgeting.
Finally last Thursday I got back to Jade’s Run Club, despite the sleeting snow and sub 0 temps (lol I sure now how to pick a day—I had already mentally committed myself!!!) It was so lovely.
I am so excited to learn more about what Bard and Boath House (Highlands manor house by same people as Sessions Arts Club in London) are cooking up in March.
BUMPING Maggie Rogers’s new song. Counting down the days until April 12!!
Aleksija launched her newsletter about fashion, technology, and taste.
I am on a home-cooking TEAR with the help of the Deliciously Ella’s 30-min-and-sub-10-ingredient-cookbook. This week I made this leek and pesto orzo and I’m obsessed.
G and I went to Argonaut Books and he treated me to a book (even though I have 10 unread books from the library staring me down from my nightstand). I picked Mad Woman by Bryony Gordon, because her book Mad Girl changed my life some eight years ago.
Looking to talk to people who got married at home for an article!!!
Edi-based friends, having some gals over for Galentine’s on Tues! Reply to me if you want to come!
All my love,
Sarah
