10 Things I’m Celebrating This Week:
I interviewed 6 beautiful couples who held their weddings at-home for Arch Digest and it was such a delight to put together. I got to chat with Anna Newton of
, Elaine Welteroth, Flora Soames, Ivey Redding, Ashley Reese, and Joey Teixiera. Read the article here!
It was an action-packed weekend of so many fun Edinburgh things!!! Which is why this newsletter came on Monday morning….
On Thursday, G and I tried SKUA in Stockbridge and we both agreed that it might be our new favorite restaurant in Edinburgh. He loved the trout, I loved the cozy vibes. Also the fried chicken.
On Friday, I got to learn about 3D printing at the Talks at the Lane at Custom Lane in Leith. It was a two-part talk from Eimar at Argot Studio with light bites and drinks. I enjoyed it so much. At the end of the month, Nick Ross is giving a talk (I interviewed him for this Vogue article!)
On Saturday, we ventured out to The Free Company, an organic farm, for dinner. Sadly we didn’t get picked up in a Defender (I think it was getting repairs?) but the food was yum!
On Sunday, we joined our friends Melody and Ross for a day trip to the Highlands and it was SO STUNNING!!!!
Meagan is coming to Edinburgh to visit and we’re hosting a happy hour tomorrow at ætla in Stockbridge from 6-8pm for Women’s Month! Reply for the deets!
Made it back to social tennis this week and I enjoyed it so much!!
I finished reading In the Midst of Winter by Isabel Allende this weekend and absolutely loved it.
This NYT article about the publishing industry and the people trying to change it, was super interesting.
Celebrating one year since we moved to Scotland!!!
