This resonated so much.

Took me a long while to not feel guilty abandoning my premium vietnamese coffee business. I launched it and supplied restaurants but with the rising supply chain costs it no longer became feasible. At the same time I moved onto other marketing/behavioural science projects, which are currently proving to be more feasible.

Thanks for writing this Sarah.

this is so awesome. I smiled really big at the Gemini line, as a fellow Gemini who can relate to this piece deeply :) i always find it helpful to remind myself that every single experience is a learning opportunity, even if it's not immediately clear what i learned and how it'll come back around to help. but it always does. our experiences are little stepping stones in our unique journeys and each project--the paused, stopped, or completed--is a chapter that adds to who we are :)

Really glad you shared this so openly Sarah, and wonderful to have so many ideas. Also your exec coach has such a lovely way of reframing it that I have taken onboard. Don't see you as a failure at all. Excited to follow your journey as you bring your ideas through exploration and into to life!!

as a person who loooves to start new projects, and also has trouble finishing them, I feel so seen in this. thank you for sharing. I love the idea of reframing the discovery of a new venture as "not feasible" as a victory and not a failure—because it's true! the real failure would have been never trying to start something new in the first place. ✨
