I never had butterflies or fireworks when I first started dating my partner either.. he’s always just felt like home. Fitting into my life as if he’s always been there.
But I’m an avoidant type.. desperate for that close connection but not knowing how to express it. My partner is secure and that has helped me to break down my walls a little bit because I know truly that he loves me and he’ll be there for me no matter what. ☺️
