Welcome to liminal space. It’s lovely to have you here!

I’m Sarah, a 27-year-old American living in Scotland. I've written for The New York TimesThe CutRefinery29InsiderArchitectural Digest, and Apartment Therapy.

Liminal Space refers to transitional periods, which seems to be where I spend the bulk of my time. I was a young girl in Michigan dreaming of being an author, a young woman working on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs in New York City, a digital nomad life in Barcelona, and currently—a writer living in Edinburgh, Scotland.

My interests span across interiors, travel, fashion, style, psychology, technology. I can’t just be one thing and I think most people can’t either!!

This newsletter dives deep on topics that are interesting to me. On Fridays, I’ll send out a round-up of things I find interesting and events happening around the world— usually in Scotland, NYC, and Spain (my three fav places!) You can read more about me and how Liminal Space came to be here.
